REFERENCE IMAGES

Supply a reference image

Reference images let you build a Character from artwork you already have, instead of from trait combinations. Access opens after your first credit pack, and every image is reviewed before it can be used.

Only fully synthetic images

We accept images generated by an AI system. We do not accept photographs, edits of photographs, or any image that depicts or resembles a real person, living or deceased. We do not accept images of anyone who is or appears to be under 18, in any style or framing.

This is not only our policy. Intimate imagery of a real person made without their consent is a criminal matter across the EU, and being synthetic is not a defence.

Before you upload

Age is judged from the picture, at upload and again on every image generated from the character. These keep rejections and withheld images down:

An adult body in frame: waist-up or three-quarter, not only a face.
Adult face and styling: no school uniforms, toys or childlike poses.
One character, face clearly visible: no mask or goggles.
1024px or larger, in neutral light.
The model that matches the style (below).

Why each of these matters

1. Who is supplying these images

The agreement is between two identified legal entities. Without this we cannot enforce the warranties, which means we cannot accept the images.

2. Where the images come from

We may ask you to substantiate this within five business days. Answer only for images you can actually evidence.

How were these images produced?

Which of our models should these characters use? Flat anime or cel shading: anime-v2 reads the look off your drawing (hair and eye colour, fringe, accessories). Soft webtoon or painted: semi-realistic. Photographic: realistic. It cannot be changed once the character exists.

Which AI system or service generated them? Model or product name, and the version if you know it

Approximately when were they generated?

Anything else we should know Optional. Prompts used, post-processing applied, whether metadata was stripped.

3. The images

PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 4 MB each. Larger sets are sent in several batches automatically. Please upload the original file rather than a screenshot or a re-save, so any embedded provenance data survives.

These are the warranties in clause 3. They are given again on every submission, and they are relied on.

Every image in this submission was generated by an AI system. None is a photograph, or an edit or derivative of a photograph, of a real person. None of these images depicts or resembles an identifiable real person, whether a public figure or a private individual. None of these images depicts anyone who is, appears to be, or is presented as being under 18 years of age. We hold all rights necessary to supply these images and to have images generated from them. We can produce evidence of origin within five business days of a written request. I am authorised to bind the company named above, and I accept the Reference Image Supply Agreement on its behalf.

Submitting does not create a Character. Each image is reviewed first, and we may decline any image without giving a reason. Your signed copy is emailed to you as a PDF. We keep a record of this submission for five years. See the Privacy Policy.
